A bright, white smile makes a good first impression and can say a lot about you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that can contribute to keeping our teeth from looking their very best. Age, tobacco use and the staining caused by foods and dark beverages can dull your smile. It’s a good idea to talk to your dentist before starting any tooth-whitening regimen.

If your teeth have mild to moderate surface stains or if you aren’t satisfied with your results from using whitening toothpaste, strips or bleaching gel, then you might want to consider our in-office tooth bleaching procedure. The concentration of peroxide or other bleaching agents simply can’t compare to the strength and effectiveness of professional tooth bleaching.

Before starting the procedure, your dentist will apply a protective gel or rubber dam to your gums. This helps protect the sensitive tissues from the strong bleaching agent. Your teeth are then bleached in trays. In some instances, we might also use a laser light to help enhance the whitening process.
