Do you ever wonder if your brush your teeth right? Naturally, most people develop habits, but do you ever wonder if there is anything you could improve? In fact, there are many little things that many people don’t seem to know about brushing your teeth.
For example, did you know that you shouldn’t start brushing in the same place every time? You see, you should brush twice a day to remove the germs and bacteria that can lead to health issues, but if you start in the same area every time you brush, you’re more likely to miss teeth. By switching where you start brushing, you’re more likely to reach these areas.
Similarly, did you know you won’t be able to brush properly without the right toothbrush? You should find a brush with softer bristles or you could unintentionally damage your gums or enamel. On a similar note, you should brush for two minutes at a time, but not longer. If you brush for longer than two minutes, you could irritate your gums. Also, please remember to brush in circular motions. Brushing from side to side can also damage your gums.
Finally, it is extremely important that you care for your toothbrush properly. You should replace your toothbrush at least once every four months, and your brush should be left out to air dry in an open space after each use.
